Syllabus and Resource List Repository FALL 2010

Central to enabling the many workflows supported by the Digital Marketplace is the presence of an institutional repository for syllabi and resource lists. The DM has established interface standards that allow for such repositories to interface with DM services supporting a range of learning applications.

This suite of tools allows for creation, submission, and discovery of syllabi and resource lists reflecting current and recent courses. Faculty can quickly and easily discover what content others are using, either to get ideas for their own courses or to understand what is being covered in prerequisite courses.

For administrators, the repository can feed information into both Learning Management Systems and Campus Auxiliaries, thereby facilitating HEOA compliance and supporting other administrative needs.
