Students

Through the Digital Marketplace, students have access to the widest range of content—licensed commercial (publisher) content, open educational resources, and library materials—at the most affordable prices.

Free course content. Can’t buy the book? Try Open Education Resources (OER) – they are free and available online for your learning. Enter a textbook ISBN or topic to discover a wealth of free comparable resources at: http://als.csuprojects.org/course_content external link.

Low cost content. The Digital Marketplace has licensing agreements with publishers (running in pilot program now) to make digital content available to participating course registrants at the lowest cost available on campus.

Digital v. Print. Save up to 50% for digital course materials through your local campus bookstore.

Library Content. Electronically and right away, when you need it! Your library has a wide range of the highest quality digital articles and e-books that are yours to use for free for your learning.  A number of your libraries are also using GetIt@Calstate which allows you to search and acquire online library articles that are outside your library’s collection. This service reduces the time it takes to receive content via the interlibrary loan program from days to minutes.
